AARP – Crazy rip off people?
Well, this is very interesting. For months AARP has been sending me a card to fill out if I want information about a living trust here in the State of Arizona. I had to give my phone number and now I know why.
They did not send me any info, but called me. They wanted to make an appointment with me for a man to bring me the information. Say What??? I said, just send the pamphlets in the mail. Oh No, we cannot do that, we have to explain parts of it to you. She said it is forty pages.
I said, you mean a man will take the time to come here and explain things to me. I then asked, what will he be selling. She said, nothing at all. Yeah right!! He might have been representing someone who does these living trust and living wills and such.
I said that when I am in Scottsdale I will stop in and pick up the information. Not to be either, I needed an appointment to pick up information.
She was so rude because I would not make an appointment – she just hung up on me.
I do not trust them at all.
