California Living Will Guidelines

What information do I need to know before trying to get my GED?
I am about to be a sophomore in high school. In my freshman year my overall (weighted) GPA was a 4.0. I live in California. I take honors classes, and that boosts my grades from B’s to A’s, and from A’s to higher A’s. The highest math class I have taken is Trigonometry. I need to know what my state’s guidelines are regarding getting your GED. I also would like to whether or not college’s will give scholarships to people who have their GED. And, what should I study and what are good study tips, resources, and websites? Any other information would also be welcome.
The reason I want my GED is hard to explain. I probably would go to college early if I did get it, but I want my GED because I want to become an emancipated minor and I don’t want to have to rely on my parents for anything, especially not my future.
Are you considering getting your GED so you can start college early? You earned a good GPA, I’m sure if you continue to apply yourself you’ll continue to do well. Instead of getting your GED why don’t you look into a program your high school may have with a nearby community college; talk to your counselor. You can attend community college and take classes that will go towards high school and, of course, college.
