Examples Of Florida Living Wills

I have a question about tropical plants in Florida?
I live in north Texas and due to our occasional harsh winters some of my favorite plants simply will not survive here unless protected in a green house. A couple nights ago, for example, it got down to 18 degrees and killed my bougainvilleae.
I’m thinking of relocating to a more agreeable climate like, perhaps, Florida, so my question is: will tropicals such as Bougainvilleae, Hibiscus, Four-O’-Clocks, Sago Palms, Banana trees and Eugenia live year long just everywhere in Florida, or only in the southern portion?
Thank you.
Tris
apart from the northern part of the state i would say that orlando and south are your best bets.
as it was close to 26 degrees in northern Florida last night with the wind chill.
