Can you return to Canada and get up your household items at a later date?
I have lived as a permanent resident in Canada for 10 years. I am a US Citizen moving back to the US. When I became a resident of Canada, I filled out a form of “Goods to Follow”, and picked them up from the US at a later date. Also, I have seen answers stating the CBP Form 3299 – Declaration for Free Entry of Unaccompanied Articles needs to be completed. I will be hauling the items myself by UHAUL. I spoke with Customer Service at CPB and was told there are no special forms needed if I were bringing the items in myself…just make a generalized list. Now, I am unable to transport my belongings at this time, so I didn’t even think to ask the question about bringing them later. Thanks
My question is…What forms do I need to complete in order to bring my items by UHAUL at a later date? Do I have to present this list at my initial move back to the US?

You will be able to bring them later. Just put them in storage
