Free Living Will Michigan
My lil brother has now been set free from jail!!!!! YAY!?
but i have a question. he’s currently in the state of GA where he served his time. I live in Michigan. well my concern is that if he is allowed to move back to michigan where his family is, and most likely he will be living w/ me until he get on his feet, what precautions do i have to take being that he is a felon and I am a gun owner? will this cause problems for him? for me?
If he is going to get his probation transferred his michigan PO will be wanting to know that there are no firearms in the home. If your brother comes into possession of a firearm as a felon, he will have committed a felony under michigan state law and federal law.
I suggest moving the guns somewhere else, to avoid any possiblility that your brother may decide to get stupid with your guns.
