Is it hard to find a job in the New York City for teens?
Hello . My name’s Kamal.I’m from Azerbaijan. And i want to study abroad and i go to toefl preparation schools in Baku,Azerbaijan. I’m US Military Academy Cadet Candidate and to entering USMA it is very diffucult that i want to take 6 month TOEFL and SAT courses in NYC. I have no time in Baku becouse it too hard to learn English in Azerbaijan. But i know someone who studied TOEFL and SAT in the US and he says that you will have free time in the US after leaving daily TOEFL courses. And i want to work 1month not all of my 6 months. I have a lot of money but i want to work.i love working and it will be my 1st time living alone in abroad.I want to get alone life experience(especcialy in the US). And i’m 17 years old guy.Do you know that, is it hard to find a job in NYC? and how much money do you earn hourly?

You’re 17, so I’m fairly positive you can get a job.NYC is generally a very crowded city, so I assume it might be challenging, but I’m sure you could find one if you searched a bit. I think the minimum wage is 7.25 hourly this year in New york, so somewhere on that or above. Good Luck!
And also, if you just want to work for free but get experience, just intern for something!
