Government permission to leave the UK?
According to today’s papers, from Easter, British citizens will have to supply extensive details, 24 hours in advance, of any trip they want to make out of the country. Anyone who doesn’t comply will be prosecuted or fined. Am I missing something? I thought we lived in a free democracy. Did I miss the small print in the manifesto or was there a coup?
