What free legal document(s) or templates(s) would I use to notify my roomates that I will be cutting power as well as any other utilites in my name within 72 hours of the time the notice was given? My roomates have become a problem and treatened my “physical safety” and said it would be in my best interest to pack and leave. this was all due to the fact that I told them that in a month I would cut everything in my name since I was not living there anymore, but still paying rent because I was still under lease agreement. So they want to treaten to sue for damage to property if I just cut power and food spoils!! So I want some kind of legal documentation to use as a notification to them that they have 72 hours to make arrangements so they cant attempt any suit. This is in the state of Georgia if relivant.
If the utilities are in your name, you can cut them off anytime you want. There is no cause of action that would allow them to succeed in suing you for terminating services that are in your name only. All they have to do is call up the utility company and start new service.
