How do I find a new Primary Doctor in Columbus Ohio?
I live in Columbus, Ohio
I have a primary doctor I do not like. He does not have reg office hrs, doesnt return calls etc.
I want to find a new primary dr.How should go about finding one?
And should I go with a Primary or a General Practice?
I have asked my friends, family and other dr.’s I do like but none of them seem like a fit or covered by my insurence.
I want a dr who will listen, does not rush me, actually have office hours, returns phone calls and gives free samples if applicable. doesn’t think I am a hyperconderic
(I have actual documented medical conditions, I am always afraid that ppl will think that bc some of them contradict each other)
I went on line, on Angie’s list, and on my insurence list and they were no help.
Im not sure if this would work in Ohio..but here…if you go to a hospital emergency room and ask the clerk if they have a list of doctors taking new patients..they often do….try it..you have nothing to lose
