Restrictions for registered sex offenders?
I live in Kentucky and Im trying to find out the rules/restrictions/laws/guidelines for a registered sex offender. (1st degree age of victim 8yrs old!!!) If anyone knows any or all of them can you please let me know, or if there is a website that may have them listed that would be great too. I do know all of the guidelines for residency, Im just curious about the other laws, like if there are any internet use requirements or restrictions among other things. I would just like to be aware of all of them if possible.. I am NOT the offender but recently found out that I have been in contact with one which I was very unaware of, and Im pretty sure that he is doing some things that are not allowed!! I would be surpised if he is following the guidelines…So PLEASE if anyone could help me out so that I will know whether or not he should be reported, I would greatly appreciate it..Thanks to anyone in advance!!!! :O)
Internet restrictions would be an individual thing decided by a judge. For example if a predator was known to have gained access to victims via the internet a judge could bar him from owning a computer, using a computer, etc.
Some offenders are forbidden by judges to own toys that would appeal to small children. Some might be barred from arcades, etc. Judges have a broad range in which to issue orders to protect the public.
