What kind of attorney do I need?

I live in Houston and I bought a laptop from Conns with an extended warranty that covers everything except water damage. Now the battery does not work and Conns will not do anything about it. I am looking to take legal action against Conns. What kind of attorney do I need and from a legal perspective can I win?

I doubt an attorney would be able to help you, unless the battery is covered by the warranty. Usually a dead battery is going to be considered part of the “norman wear and tear” on the item, and not covered by the warranty.

But, if you need an attorney call the State Bar of Texas, and ask for a referral. (800) 204-2222, or go to http://www.texasbar.com

Good Luck
