Child support to covet 1/2 of child care?
Hi, my ex gives me $850 in support a month. I have two children, we live in Los Angeles, we make the same amount of money and I have them 80% of the time. Summer is just around the corner and $850 will not cover ANY camp. Half my monthly paycheck doesn’t even cover rent. I’m about to file my declaration this Thursday. Is there a FORM I can state what I request him to pay? He also won’t help pay for the childrens’ extra-curricular activities (school camp, piano, etc.) and I’m stressing out. Thanks. ***I’m doing this IN PRO PER – so please do not suggest an attorney, I can’t afford it and apparently I make too much to get assistance.
So… you’re asking what form to fill out to get him to chip in to send the kids to camp? If I read wrong, just let me know…
Have you tried talking to him? Ask him if he can help send them to camp – they are his kids, right? Filling out forms and getting court mandates to take money out of his pocket and off of his table isn’t going to help the kids, you, or him.
