Back to basics part 3.
I guess this is the question that most searchers in this area of interest deals with. How to make money online!
Well, there are several answers to that, but one important issue is that it really is possible to make a great deal of money online. But you have to follow some critical guidelines. First, you have to know what your are doing. Internet Marketing is a living process, and lots of changes has taken place only during the last couple of months. So the recommendation is to be a part of a community where you know you will be given the best chances for education and training, and continuous updates. The worst case is where you spend some (or much) money to join a moneymaking concept and suddenly the market changes and you do not get any updates from your up-line or founders. Secondly, you have you be focused and consistent. No matter how long it takes. Normally, you will have a shorter time to a large income with a higher initial budget, but in the end it is your ability to stay focused that will make the difference compared to the ones failing.
So how do I make money? What most people think about when talking about online marketing is Network Marketing/MLM. This is an area that has been around offline for many many years, and has now stepped online. Typical features in MLM (Multi Level Marketing) is that you build/recruit a downline and make money in every new deal that take place in your downline (down to a certain level). The problem is often that you so much depend on your downline to make money, and it might take a while to get your investments back. It is also your responsibility to coach your downline and that might be time consuming and if you do not have that time, it will lead to frustration and lost sales in your downline.
A new type of Network Marketing/MLM has developed online, where the only product is just making money! It is all about building a large downline and make money on every new representative that comes in and pays his/hers fee.
Another main area is direct sales, which is my favorite. It is as easy as it sounds, you are selling a product or a service as a representative for your company. An advantage is that you receive your commission up front when the deal is made. Commissions are often higher than in network marketing. You can build a sales team in direct sales as well, but only in one level, and make an additional income when someone in your team makes a sale.
Finally I would like to mention an area which is really popular and like the other two, possible to make a living from. It is called Affiliate Marketing. What it means is that you act as a reseller of several products, physical or digital, and market those online. You do not deal with the actual selling, but receive a commission on every sale made through your sales system. Affiliate marketing is easy to get started with, and you do not have to deal with any downline, upline or sales. The commissions are relatively low, so you need to make lots of sales and work with many products to make a good income from it.
