How will you start of an descriptive essay when your doing it about your living room?

Example:
Everyday when I get home from school or where ever, the first thing I see is my living room, filled with lights, decors, and my favorite color, lavender all over on the walls. I smell the sweet smell, strawberry and kiwi fill up the room. It has a beautiful red, lavished carpet, along with yellow drapes and two maroon lounge chairs. The most wonderful thing I see in it that put a smile on my face is my mom’s silver, 64′ inch, $4,000, plasma screen t.v.
