Few questions bout NYS Tap and Pell grant for out of state school?
Ok currently i live in the buffalo ny area and will be attending a community college for fall 2009 and spring 2010. I am wanting to transfer to The University of Oklahoma or LSU. I will be a transfer and also a sophomore. I currently receive maximum Tap and Pell Grant because i make minimum wage and im 21 and i also live alone. Will i still get my tap and pell grant even though im goin to a non NY school? And both of my new schools cost 17,000+ and i will be a sophomore and 22 will i be independent form my parents? and will i still receive max benefits?
I don’t think you wil be able to still receive the tap grant since it’s an out of state school…The same thing is sort of happening to me…Just be sure, are the pell grant and the tap grant two separate things???
