Living Will Forms For Kansas

Spring Break Trip legal concerns?
A friend and I are planning a ski trip for spring break. We will be taking mostly 18yr olds but there are a few 17yr olds. We are concerned that if someone gets hurt, that they or parents might want to sue us for something or other. I mean they are all our friends, but you never know and we don’t want to take any chances, and someone almost always gets hurt when skiing.
Should we get some kind of consent or release of liability form? If so, WHERE can I find one for free? We live in Kansas, and are traveling to Colorado to ski. Thanks!
Well, sure they will hold you responsible!
You can’t sign away your legal liability. You can’t “waive” your legal duties under the law. So it doesn’t matter WHAT type of paper you have them sign, it likely isn’t going to hold up in court, ANYWAY.
Better plan, maybe, is Every Person for Themself – YOU don’t plan the trip, just announce it, let them know when, where, how much. They buy their own tickets, you don’t take responsibility for SQUAT.
