Living Will Georgia Explanation
Is it just me or is this wrong?
My husband and I let his friend and his wife move in with us because they were having trouble paying their rent. Moving in with us was going to cut their monthly expenses in half.
They paid us last month on time. This month, my husband’s friend told him that they only had half of the rent to give. No explanation was given (or asked for). He told him that he would have the remainder on the 10th. Our rent is due on the 1st of the month with a grace period until the 3rd.
Two days later, his friend tells us that he and his wife are driving to Detroit (we live in Georgia) and will be gone for five days.
Now is it just me or is this wrong? How are you going to tell us you don’t have the whole rent and then two days later tell us you’re going away for a few days?
hmmm.. it’s the kind of thing you should be prepared for when you have others move in. there’s always one side that’s footing the bigger part of the bill… kind of like the way you shoudln’t lend money unless your prepared to not get it back…
anyways… don’t jump to conclusions tho. give them till the 10th and see what happens. after that if they keep it up, you’ll have to really decide whether or not you want them there(like if your just trying to help out) or if it’s just not worth the effort.
