Living Will Hd Channel
I just got directv hd, when will they have Univision/Telemundo in hd?
I live in Houston Tx and i got hd set up today. I like it a lot. But i noticed those two spanish channels are not in HD at all. They have already said they launched HD. Has directv not started broadcasting those channels in HD?
That’s an interesting question, as I responded to a similar one not long ago re Univision on Comcast. It turns out that the local Univision station has been broadcasting over-the-air in HD since before the U.S. transition in June ‘09, but Comcast will not or can not carry the HD version. It’s standard-def only. Maybe there is something about Univision not providing an HD feed to cable/satellite companies. Maybe it’s a contract issue, similar to what we’ve heard lately re Fox and ABC vs. Time Warner.
