Canadian Marrying an American.?
I am from kitchener ontario canada. My fiance is from Indianapolis Indiana. I have found so much info on visas I dont even know where to start. I want to know how long I can expect to wait for a k1 visa and how to go about it. Or, if say on a visit to Indiana we got married, what form do I apply for and will they let me stay in the US or will I have to go back to Canada to apply for those forms even if we’re married? What are the chances of being deported back to Canada if we get married in the states without a visa? So many questions I dont know where to start. We have proof of visitations, we’ve been together for going on 4 years now, etc etc. so theres no issue in proving any of that. I just really dont know where to start and what will be FASTEST. I dont care about all the paperwork AFTER we get married but I do want to be able to live together ASAP. so can someone who’s been through this PLEASE help me out. We want to be able to live together while we do all the paperwork.
