Do you think my grandpa will be better(Cancer question)?
My grandpa has cancer and it has spread through out the body and he is very week. They can’t do surgery so its only chemotherapy. Its a stage 4 cancer. My mom does not want to go chemotherapy because she thinks its going to kill him. She is trying to cure him by nutrition and energy, So many pill juices he goes through cleansing his body, Every hour he takes something. Every night they go to this machine to do something like energy. My grandpa is 75. We have 3 weeks to decide for chemo. Even if he does do chemo? Do you think he will live? Because half the ppl who do chemo die and the other live. My moms method may work but i doubt it. She uses Gersons plan and other diets but we have juicers and everything.
I dont want to give you a cliche answer and say “pray to God and hope for the best”, but I also dont want to give you false doubt by saying “well there is no hope he is 75″ I dont know what your beliefs are, but praying can build you spiritually and mentally. What I am saying is, if you become strong enough that way, then you can help him stay strong mentally and in good spirits. You dont have to “just hope for the best” . If he is happy, he will WANT to live. But if he is depressed and feels awful, he may feel like giving up. There is no “cure” for cancer. But the chemo can only help. If it kills him, then you cant sit back and say “we didnt try” there is a very good chance he will live. Dont start to feel like he cant. My grandpa was in an accident where he burned his body with 3rd degree burns up both arms and on his face. They told us he probably would not live because he was already on oxygen from smoking too muxch, and his lungs and heart just could not handle it all. My dad visited him everyday, they talked and he made my grandpa very happy with each visit. My grandpa was in high spirits. slowly he started to feel better physically, and look better. It took about 3 months, but he recoverd just fine. But you cant sit back and just hope, take action and comfort him. 
75 is really not too old, and if you keep him feeling okay and your mom helps him physically, then he will be much better off. So my answer to you is, yes I do think he will live.
