Were there white slaves in the United States?
I see a lot of people talk about indentured servants and yes some of them did become slaves(as opposed to what most politically correct ignorant people say) but that isn’t what I mean. I mean actual full white non-Irish people made into slaves. I will go ahead and answer the question and say I am living proof of it because my great great great grandfather was a slave in the late 1800s. I don’t know if it was technically legal at the time to have white slaves but he was an orphan adopted into slavery and later escaped and settled in Kansas.
Now of course there were not a ton of white slaves but ignorant people saying that the United States didn’t have white slaves at all and people saying that free blacks at the time never owned black slaves are just buying into political correct(which is completely incorrect) bullcrap.
There were some white slaves in the US; although, they were few and far between.
One could argue the the tax payer has been enslaved by the non-tax payer in the US today. Anyone who receives more money from the government than they pay into the system and still gets to vote (approximately 40% of the electorate) is electing politicians with the sole purpose of making money off the work of other people.
