Living Will New Yorker

How to Spend New Year’s Eve in NY if Under 21?
This is going to be a tough one. So I’m a New Yorker (not a tourist) but I’m not living there right now. A little out of touch with what’s going on though I will check up on news in the L Mag, Flavorpill, & VV. I’m going back home for the holidays and would like to do something fun on New Year’s Eve with friends if there’s anything at all for those barely under 21 to do. A little tired of the house gatherings.
I am looking for a fun, unique experience and was thinking on the midnight run though that’ll be freezing – any vets have comments?
Anything chill and relaxed with good company to crazy, hoppin dance parties is good. Cafes, parties, shows/concerts…anything for folks under 21 who are not tourists, just removed. Mid-Lower Manhattan/Brooklyn area OK. Suggestions?
Party while you watch the apple drop at midnight in Times Square. There are many places to party in NYC.
