Where in NJ does it say you have to be 21 to get a free kitten?
A pet store that has some kittens is saying that they will not give me the free kitten with 25 dollars worth of kitten supplies because I am 18, not 21. I was going to get an older cat from a shelter, but I live with my bf and he said he wanted to get a kitten. The pet store refused to sell it to me, and told me to bring my bf down if I wanted it. He’s 24… I am an adult I find it ridiculous they wont give me the cat.
Is this illegal?
I don’t understand how I can adopt a pet from a shelter, but this pet store is refusing to give me a kitten.
It just really angers me, and I will be taking my business to the local animal shelter instead.
It could be store policy.
