If I want to live in Montreal for a few months can I obtain working papers for that time?
In a few years I am planning on moving to Montreal for a few months. I am planning on working while I am there. Do I need to obtain working papers of some sort? I will be living there for 5-6 months. Is this possible to do?

For a temporary working permith you must 1st got the job and then with your company apply for it.
You could always ask for a resident visa and use it as long as you need it. This will let you choose your work place anytime.
