Drivers License Suspended for expired registration ticket from 1984. Should it be dismissed?
This ticket for expired license plates is on the books in Flagstaff AZ. The ticketed vehicle was a motorcycle.
I went to get a drivers license in another state and they said my license is suspended in Arizona. I have never even lived in Arizona nor have I ever had a license to operate a motorcycle. Oh yeah ,I requested and recieved a copy of the ticket. the license plate number as written by the officer is unreadable. The fine is 525$ or 144days in jail. I will never be able to afford it, should I go sit it out?

I did call them, they want the money or they won’t notify the DMV in my state that the suspension is cancelled. Plus 10 dollars more for the notification process.
When you have been ticketed unfairly, you do have recourse. You can contact a hearing officer in another city and bring the facts out into the open. You may then hope to get things reversed. A certain city, and certain neighboring city’s personelle re motor vehicles was found to be crooked, (Bullhead, Kingman, Az.) but changes and improvements were made right after hearing officer from Phoenix looked into facts so don’t give up on an area.
