Living Will Registry Washington
Bridal shower in home town, but live out of state! What to do with gifts????! PLEASE HELP! ?
I am getting married in Wisconsin, and the bridal shower will be taking place there as well. My fiance and I will be living in Washington state and I’m wondering what is the best way to go about the wedding/shower gifts? It will be too expensive to mail it all, but we are unsure of how to go about the gifts without being tacky. We thought of a honeymoon registry but we don’t really want to go that route. Any suggestions?

You are going to Wisconsin to get married for a reason. Chances are it’s where family & friends live. Let them keep the shower gifts for you until the wedding is over. Then you might have to pay to have it shipped somehow. Or drive them back to Washington when you or a family members gets the chance.
A shower hostess can also suggest gift cards to “lighten the bride’s load.” The shower won’t be as fun as if you had gifts to open, but it would be more practical.
