Free Blog Hosts that give you total creative control?
Do you know of any FREE blog hosts that give you total creative control?
I am familiar with live Journal, Blogger, WordPress, etc., but they all offer limited (if any) creative control in terms of designing your own templates.
WordPress only allows you to change the CSS if you upgrade to a paid account- they let you design & preview your changed with the free one, but to actually apply a self-designed template, you have to pay for the upgrade.
I did do a filter search with WordPress looking for templates that allow you to use a custom background, but there is only a handful, and they still don’t work well with my background~
I can’t afford the upgrade right now, and free trial’s are pointless since I’ll not be able to upgrade when it ends. If you know of any free blog hosts that will allow me to design my own template/theme, can you please share the host name? (And again, i’m familiar with the big ones, so LiveJournal, Blogger, WordPress, Vox, etc. won’t work).

I think you are underestimating the things that Blogger can do. Blogger offers more possibilities than you can imagine if you know your way around CSS and HTML/Javascript. There are even ways to turn your blogspot into a youtube style video site. If you can’t find anything more suitable, I’m happy to help you get what you want out of your blog’s design.
