Living Will Terminology
Will my husband receive BAH during school?
My husband graduates OCS this week. We were expecting him to come home for three weeks and do OHARP until SWO school (like the other 72 SWO’s in his class 
- however, he just received his orders today and is to attend a 19 day CMS (not sure if that’s correct terminology) school before SWO School that starts May 10th.
He hasn’t had a chance to look into to it but where will he live during both schools? Also, will he still get BAH because his orders are unaccompanied? I’m definitely learning to roll with the punches.. but it would be great to know these two minor details so I can prepare our finances.
heh… Out of 70 something SWOs in the class he was the only one not to be placed in OHARP- I like to think this extra schooling will give him a head start and help him out in the future Thanks for the great answer.
he will live in the BOQ while he is in training. single room, MAYBE one roommate.
yes he will continue to get BAH just like he has been all through OCS.
he’s actually lucky he isn’t being shunted into IRR..no pay at all until he classes up(just Tricare and commissary/exchange access) . apparently that’s been happening a lot lately and will be standard for some time to come.
