Does an executor to a UK will have to live in UK?

I am one of two executors to my father’s will. My brother is the other; neither of us is currently living in the UK, is this a problem?

No it’s not a problem.
You will have to apply for probate in the UK and someone will have to attend to swear the will, but this can be done by a UK solicitor on your behalf.
Explain the position to the solicitor and GET A QUOTE for the very limited amount of work you wish him to do.
DO NOT appoint him to deal with the estate if you think you can handle it yourself.
