Will it be possible for my family to drive from VA toMI this Friday?

I have family that live in VA that is supposed to drive to MI this weedend to suprise my hubby as well as family in DC that is supposed to fly here does anyone know if it will be safe for them to travel due to the snow we all just had?
we are have a anniversary party too
