Philippine passport validity to travel back to US?
I have a philippine passport that will expire on march 2010. i want to travel to the Philippines on october, but i heard about the 6-month validity prior to expiration issue. do i have to renew my passport? by the way, i live in maryland. will i be able go back here using the same passport ( i wouldn’t have much time to renew it while im in the phils because ill be there for 3 weeks only and the new machine readable passports takes 6 weeks to be released. any ideas, anyone?
i already bought my ticket before i even knew about the “6 month prior to expiration”. im leaving on oct 7. im really getting worried about this
this is august,so you will have only 5 months left when leaving the US. best get your passport renewed now..contact the Philippines consulate services as soon as possible.
