Will I be considered In State Tuition?
I have been living for 5 years in Maryland. I am currently paying in my community college as an in state tuition. My sponsor is currently living in Maryland, but is planning to move to Virginia. Will they still consider me as an in state tuition when applying to Maryland College Park for Fall Semester? I will still be living in Maryland, the only thing is that my sponsors location will change. Will they consider me as in state?
In state is determined by where your premanent residence is. Your permanent residence is where you live 6 months and 1 day a year. So if you live in mayland then you are in state. contact the school to be completely sure though.
