I’m not even a Mayweather fan as some of you may well know, but this fight will not even be close. Floyd is way too skillful for Manny! The best punches against a southpaw are the left hook and the straight right right down the pipe, both of which happen to be Floyd’s two best punches. Manny is a great fighter but often lunges and is off balance a lot, and a superior technician like Floyd is gonna make him pay dearly for his mistakes. Floyd’s defense and overall ring generalship will be nothing like Manny has ever seen. This is Salvador Sanchez-Wilfredo Gomez all over again, trust me. This fight WILL NOT live up to the hype.

Manny has evolved to a way different boxer since his last bout against Juan Manuel Marquez. Zab Judah was the fastest boxer Floyd has ever faced, and Castillo and De La Hoya were by far the most active and aggressive. We all saw in those 3 fights instances in which Floyd struggled, but was able to cope and adjust to the styles put forth. But Pacquiao is way different, he has this style that will confuse anyone, even Floyd. He possesses the 2 elements that have given Floyd problems in the past: Speed & Effective Aggression. Pacquiao would by far present Mayweather the toughest test of his career. Pacquiao has went through the power of Miguel Cotto, and I’m sure it is safe to say that he is more powerful than a Welterweight now. Mayweather doesn’t have the power to KO Manny, he didn’t even have the power to hurt Marquez in most of their bout except for the knockdown where we saw Floyd not go for the kill, but it is obviously possible that the man could win a decision, he definetely has the talent to defeat Manny, and Manny definetely has the talent to defeat Floyd, and this is what makes this bout so interesting to me
