When the health care industry collapses, will the American economy collapse too?
I think that will be the last straw. People that work in health care are idiots. Many of them are still taking vacations, living life up, spending in restaurants, while people go bankrupt for care. When this industry inevitably stops making money, should we worry about the American economy?
Forgive me, I used to work for a restaurant, and I would say most of our sales came from the health care industry in some form or the other. While it was good for me, I also knew this was a good reason people were paying so much for medicine and treatment, and that it was wrong.
Many companies are cutting back on health care, especially for retirees. That cannot be good.
It wont collapse. It is going to change and drastically for the better. The problems you are stating is why we need a PUBLIC OPTION in health care to drive the prices down from the drug company and doctor and hospital lobbiests so that we will all be better off.
