How to authorize someone to represent me?
My grandpa recently died and there is going to be a probate hearing. It will take place in romania (where my whole family is from) but obviously I won’t be able to be there since I live in USA. So they want me to send some kind of authorization letter for my aunt to represent me during the hearing. Does anyone know a specific type of document for this? Or maybe a sample document I could start from? Something that’s made for this kind of authorization purpose.
This is very simple –
To whom it may concern:
I, “Your name” of your address – (the undersigned) hereby appoint my aunt “her name”, address if you have it) to represent me and to assume all responsibilities on my behalf in the matter of the disposition of “name of person named in probate proceedings) property that I may have been bequeathed. She is to act as my personal Representative, and is to be granted all rights and privileges therein.
