state probation drug testing methods in florida?
i live in fort myers florida
i’ve gone to see my probation officer twice and tomorrow will be the third time .
i get random drug tests and although i’ve yet to have one i am almost certain i will be administerd one tomorrow.
alothoug this will probally make my Q sound like a pointless endeaver , i’ve peaked into some of the rooms and ive seen urine sample cups or what appears to be them .
the area that im in is not extremly affluent and i think the hig cost of hair test would deter the usag . but i put up a Q and an answer i recieved was that probation tests are done with hair and blood , i’m not sure if that is true with my county because we expecially are experincing what i would call a recession in fact recently it was stateed in the news that lee county has the highest forclusre rate in the country .

To the best of my knowledge, only the basic urine sample is used for drug/alcohol testing by APA.
To this point, it sounds like you have just been lucky that you havent been tested. Read your paperwork that you signed. You can and will be tested on a random basis. If this helps you at all, being on the street under supervision is FAR better than being locked up in jail/prison any day.
Stay clean and sober while on paper. Definetely not worth it to go back to jail over that.
