what steps should be taken to insure that the youth of America today start living a more grounded lifestyle?
The way of the world today seems to be living from a personality based lifestyle without any basis on charactor and personal ethics of social interactions. Think about the world of the 1940’s and 50’s. Youths were more in tune with the world around them and how to succeed in life at a much earlier age than today. Today’s focus on superficial things being the catalyst of progressing in business and the good things in life, instead of actual hard work and perserverance. Used to be a good word and a handshake were all you needed because someones reputation was based on their character, and not how they dressed, how much money was in the bank, how smooth they could talk, etc. It’s time to get back to basics, people. Todays youth are spiraling out of control at an alarming rate, if we don’t find a solution soon, the world of tomorrow will have a very unrecognizable hue to it.
Lead by example, be aware of what your kids are doing, participate in their lives, guide them.
