Texas Living Will Questionnaire
Am i a texas resident?
I am from california and will be going to school in texas for the fall semester. The school is having me fill out a texas residency questionnaire and i was wondering if i am considered as a texas resident.
My mother lives in houston half the time and the other half in california. She has a home in houston texas and has been living there for almost 3 years. Am i considered at texas resident if my mother has a residence here, even though i was living in california and graduated from high school in california??? THANKS A LOT!
the school im going to is a private school.
It’s only publicly funded unis that charge different fees to students from different states, so does it really matter.
Owning a house doesn’t make you a resident. Where your mother pays her national taxes probably determines her residency.
